Raised by Indian-Kenyan parents between Canada and Kenya, I grew up moving between contexts, which is probably why I've never been able to stay in one lane. My degree in Philosophy and Political Science from UBC sharpened a habit I already had: taking something tangled and working at it until it's clear. That combination, a multicultural upbringing and a stubborn need to make sense of things, has carried me across a wider range of roles, industries and countries than most careers cover.

What I keep coming back to is the work between strategy and execution: taking a plan, an idea, or a pile of raw information and turning it into something people can actually act on. I've co-founded three companies and led marketing and communications for an international health insurance brokerage across East Africa and the Gulf. Today I work as a Strategic Communications and Operations Consultant, and my current venture is Dental Pathways, a health travel service that coordinates treatment between Canadians and dentists in Turkey.

From a CEO's office at a health regulator in Vancouver, to board-level reporting for an industrial group in Saudi Arabia, to a front desk in Nairobi. Different rooms, same lesson: effective communication is at the heart of everything we do, and complexity is what stops it landing.
